WHAT THEY DO
With a production capacity of 150,000 meters per month, Alesilk is one of the most important weaving mill companies in the province of Como and among the main players of the silk market.
WHY WE WORK WITH THEM
We collaborated with Alesilk to create an innovative fabric for our collection: the first 4-ply stretch crepe in organic silk to exist. We felt this natural and organic fabric was missing from the market.

Button maker Ascoli Bottoni is an historical company founded by Umberto Ascoli, just outside Milan in 1903.
WHAT THEY DO
They were one of the very first to jump onto the emerging prêt-à-porter trend post-War and engage with up and coming designers like Karl Lagerfeld and Pierre Cardin to design Ascoli’s first collections.
WHY WE WORK WITH THEM
They ensure that they produce some of the highest-quality, sustainable buttons in the market like buttons from recycled horn, coffee bean, recycled paper, canapa, and rice.
Berto

Berto has been in the business of fabric production since 1887, when the company was founded by brothers Guiseppe and Egidio Berto.
WHAT THEY DO
They’ve dabbled in both the clothing and interiors markets for decades and more recently established themselves as a leader in Italy’s denim production chain.
WHY WE WORK WITH THEM
The company uses a natural indigo dyeing process and the least harmful raw materials on the market, including organic cotton, natural linen, and Ecotec(R) Yarn, developed from the regeneration of the factory’s own waste from their production chain.

Counters and toe puffs are the reinforcements inside your shoe that maintains the integrity of the shoe, its comfort, beauty and value.

They employ a series of designers and model makers, to create the counters and toe puffs for any shoe, conducting studies to create the perfect design using a mix of machine and hardwork.

Deb, located in Castelli Calepio, stands out as a trim supplier and aligns with our own responsible ethos, because of the quality of the materials they are able to provide.
WHAT THEY DO
The buffalo horns that they use come from domestic farms, which have a minimal impact on the environment. In these domestic farms in India, the animals grow and live with local families.
WHY WE WORK WITH THEM
Nothing from the animal is wasted like the horns for buttons, while horn waste is used for agricultural purposes. All of Debs horn buttons are certified organic by GOTS.
Fasac

Print specialist Fasac, housed in a large industrial site of over 40,000 square metres, has been contributing to great ‘Made in Italy’ quality output since 1955.
WHAT THEY DO
They optimize energy consumption throughout its facilities with the use of solar panels, a stringent purification system, as well as photovoltaic and gas cogeneration plants.
WHY WE WORK WITH THEM
Fasac uses a pilot wastewater treatment plant for the removal of nitrogen when processing materials in collaboration with LIFE dNtreat and “rigorously controlled disposal practices” for its dyes.

They are known for material innovation and offer a range of alternatives to traditional oil-derived flexible packaging and hangers.

ABNY uses their THECHA Hanger, a great alternative to plastic, made from recycled paper content including packaging, newspapers and shopping bags.

On the environmental level, Mantero is working on multiple fronts, from printing with metal-free dyes; to using new LED lighting to save electricity consumption.

Sermen is one of the most efficient and resonsible companies. They use automatic manufacturing procedures and produce some 1 million bags each month.

Sermen’s commitment to make their activity more and more eco-friendly. They also only use recycled paper for packing goods.
Zip Goffredo

Zip Goffredo is the market leader in the production of zippers, located in Bari, Italy, offering modern production lines which blend technological efficiency with a commitment to sustainability.

In 1995, they developed galvanic processes, dyeing and coating without the use of carcinogenic substances and then in 1996, Zip Goffredo produced nickel-free hypoallergenic zips.
